A little help from a turtle
New players in newly created worlds begin with a basic turtle, two charcoal and a wooden pickaxe. Put the charcoal in the turtle’s storage and the pickaxe in its tool slot. The coding lessons introduce refuelling and the first actions; you do not need to find a ruin before you can start programming.
Build your first shelter
Gather logs, turn them into planks and sticks, then make tools and a workbench. A stone furnace opens your first metal recipes. Place light and shelter before night, and keep food on hand for exploring and sprinting. Use the quest book to follow the learning path.
Make a place to return to
A Bed sets a personal respawn when used. At night, every online living player needs a separate accessible bed to sleep through to dawn. If a bed is missing or unsafe, the game tries the safe world start instead. Knockout keeps your items.
Explore at your own pace
The old ruin is optional. Crashed drones, mineshafts and other structures give you reasons to explore, but the early lessons do not depend on finding them. A crafted Compass points to world spawn; it can also point to the old ruin after you personally discover it.
